Soweto children — by lil
These young children lived in one of the poorest areas of the Soweto township, where there is extremely limited access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and warm shelter (most lived in iron shacks). They are standing next to their home.

Soweto boy — by lil
This young boy lived in a house opposite Winnie Mandela's home in the Soweto township. I photographed his entire family and gave them all small Fuji instant photos–I have many shots of them all laughing and showing pictures of themselves to each other.
