Why this organization deserves attention
A notable feature is that it supports both children overseas and households in need in Japan. Its work at home and abroad is linked by the same aim of protecting children.
It offers many ways to take part, including monthly and one-time donations, donations of food and goods, and volunteering. For people who want to help children, it seems easy to find a method that suits them.

Editor's comment
Children in faraway countries and children in our own neighborhoods all need a place where they can feel safe. Good Neighbors Japan's work gives us a chance to look at both.
