Each week we review a different theme and then discuss possible ways to tackle problems. Activities will help us understand the problems and pressures people face allowing everyone for a chance to rethink our assumptions while also learning more. Weekly assignments include online readings and online research which guide discussion so that class participants will better understand causes, impacts and connections between of a wide array of issues. Participants take part in class discussion, group-work and a final presentation on an issue of their choice. From 2016, NGO 201 will be based on the Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) Global Campaign.
