Toward Multi-ethnic and Multi-cultural Society\n March in March 2013 \n Sunday, March 3rd @Hibiya Park\n\n■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□■□\n\n\nMarch in March is an action carried out by migrant workers \nevery year in March. \n\n The first time that migrant workers in Japan fought the \ntraditional spring struggle to improve their working \nconditions and secure their rights was in March of 1993. \nThat time was shortly after the bubble economy ended. \nProblems of work place accidents and layoffs were happening \none after the other to the so-called “dekakesegi” migrant \nworkers who had propped up the bubble economy. \n\nEvery year in March since then, migrant workers have taken \nup the issues which were relevant at the time, and have \nbrought forward an image of the conditions in Japanese \nsociety from their point of view.\n\nMigrant workers often work in the 3-K jobs (kiken, kitanai, \nkitsui), in so-called“black companies” that don’t obey \nlabor standards or minimum wage laws and can fire workers at \nwill. Migrant workers also experience irregular employment \nstatus - including unstable temporary employment and \ntermination of dispatch employment and being excluded from \nsocial insurance. At first, migrant workers appealed to \nsociety at large concerning all of these issues. After a \nlittle bit of time, Japanese workers are now also suffering \nfrom these same problems mentioned by migrant workers.\n\nIn post 3/11 Japan, the environment has not only been \ncontaminated on a global scale, but poverty, discrimination, \nand exclusion have spread due to neo-liberalism,\n bringing peace and democracy to the verge of crisis.\n\nIn these scary times, we have to raise our voices saying to \n“live and survive together with migrants”.\n\nIn order to live together and struggle together with all \nworkers in Japan, we call on you to participate in the March \nin March 2013! \n\n March in March 2013 Organizing Committee\n\n　????????????????????????\n\n Date: Sunday March 3rd, 2013\nVenue: Small Open-Air Concert Hall, Hibiya Park\n (Hibiya Park, Chiyoda Wardn)\n\<a href="nhttp://www.tokyo-park.or.jp/english/park/detail_02.html#hibiya\n2" target="_self">nhttp://www.tokyo-park.or.jp/english/park/detail_02.html#hibiya\n2</a> minutes walk from [Hibiya Sta.] of Tokyo-metro Hibiya Line,\n2 minutes walk from [Kasumigaseki Sta.] of Tokyo-metro \nMarunouchi Line and Chiyoda Line,\n8 minutes walk from [Yuurakucho Sta.] of JR Yamanote Line, \nParking facilities available\n\nProgram: 13:00?
