UNU-IAS offers PhD and Postdoctoral Fellowships to provide young scholars and policy makers, especially from the developing world, with a multi-disciplinarily context within which to pursue advanced research and training that are of professional interest to the individual and of direct relevance to the research agenda of UNU-IAS programmes. The final presentation is an opportunity for fellows leaving the programme to share their research activities and findings. The following are the titles of the presentations. “Governance towards Biodiversity Conservation and Wise Use in Ramsar Wetland Sites” by Mari Shioya. “Building Low Carbon Communities in China: The Role of Individual’s Behaviour Change and Engagement” by Ping Jiang. “Socio-ecological Production Landscapes: Relevance to the Green Economy Agenda” by Hongyan Gu.
